Fashion lovers, listen up. Aimee Song has officially launched her clothing label “Song of Style” exclusively available on Revolve.com. Her collection is filled with a variety of refined pieces for any occasion – there is something to find for any girl, with any style.
I wanted to purchase the entire collection but had to control myself – you feel me? When it comes to buying clothes I tend to gravitate towards pieces I can style In multiple ways to get my money’s worth, and of course to practice sustainability. Killing two birds with one stone. I picked out the Kai Top for that exact reason; it can be styled in countless ways. I’m going to share with you 4 easy ways I styled mine. If you’re like me and like to play around with your pieces and get the most wear out of them… this post is for you.
The girly girl look
My favorite way to style the Kai top is paired with a high-waisted long skirt from Aritzia which gives you a more girly look, accented with my pom pom Hatattack hat (don’t forget to protect your skin from the sun) which is perfect for those sunny summer days on the patio.
When on the go
My go to look has always been a t-shirt and jeans so what better way to incorporate that than with a cute girly top. It’s an unexpected way to style this top but the blue details on the blouse will work perfectly with your favorite light washed jeans. I picked my high waisted Agolde jeans because they elongate my legs while avoiding too much skin to show for an elegant look. For more fun I had to add my favorite Lele Sadoughi headband and layered with gold Mejuri and Louis Vuitton M logo necklace.
Beach day look
The easiest way to style the Kai Top has to be with wide leg pants. Whether that’s your linen or dress pants – it will look just perfect. I chose my blue Oak and Fort pants with a ruffle waist which goes so beautifully with summer espadrilles (mine are Prada) and Urban Outfitters bow hair scrunchy.
When in doubt
I wore this look at my birthday brunch and got so many compliments. My Kai top paired perfectly with white scalloped Aritzia shorts and my D-connect Kaleidioscopic sneakers. Oh, and don’t forget your trending pearl barrettes from Zara (4 for $25 – what a steal). What I love about this look is that the focus is on your top since the shorts are white and simple. To make it dressy for a night out look all you have to do is simply add a pair of block heels. My personal favorites are the Stuart Weitzman Nearly Nude heels – so comfortable to walk in.
